Jordan s 0 Posted April 3, 2009 Report Share Posted April 3, 2009 hey all, got a 12ft tiralejo overhead orded comes in its own travle bag and set of weights bout to come in next week i hope. planning to take it away with me when i go to K.I this coming thursday till the following tuesday. putting an abu 9000i big game reelloaded with 80pound braid hoping it will work well. has anyone had any expereince or own this type of rod? Is there a reason 50lb wouldn't be enough, i'm sure even big mulloway would be done over easily enough on 50lb. What breaking strain is the rod rated at? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I was going to go with the 50 but thort id give this a go ive got a penn slammer with 50 so im just compairing at this stage and im hoping to do some balloning off the rocks when i head to K.I this weekend. ill let u know the break strain of the rod when i check it out, cant remember now.
