BigAl 0
Have just purchased a Shimano Baitrunner 3500B to snapper fish with. How much 20lb braid will fit on it and how much backing and what lb b/s mono should I use?
urhookedfish 12
cant help you with how much braid it will hold - (should be truckloads), but I can tell you that you will love this reel. They a re so reliable and solid. Theyre a fantastic snapper reel.
brenton 637
beats me how much it would hold but i reckon 150 metres would be enough for snapper fishing in most scenarios and i would just put 20 lb mono on as backing. If you have another reel with a similar sized spool then put the braid on first then top it with mono. Then its just a matter of winding it onto your Bait runner.Other than that just take it to your local tackle shop and they will do it for 5 bucks or something and save you a lot of mucking around. cheers brenton
