rooboy123 9 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Share Posted March 7, 2010 Gday, was wondering if anyone had used or has an opinion on these dropshot diablo rods.Looking at the 7'ft 2-4kg to mainly use for shore casting sp and a bit of bait at whiting, and maybe a few flathead. Will be matched up with a 2500 size reel. Can pick one up for $100, which is a good price, but dont know much about the rod. OLD SALTY 0 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 hey mate i dunno about the diablo rods haven't used one or seen one in use but i use a shimano catana of the same diamensions and have it matched to a sedona 2500 reel. The rod was $80 from memory. I have taken to using it on snapper so far a pb of 12lbs and am impressed with how it stands up.cheers OS Quote Link to post Share on other sites
