Mick013 2
ive got a 2-5 kg tcurve and i wouldnt use anything else at the moment. its my main fishing rod. use it for whiting, mullet, gar, bream, salmon trout etc... it can also cast a burley float, so its not too noodle like but still sensitive
jagger 24
I've had both and prefer the sol. The tcurve is a gutsy rod and I do prefer the shorter butt, but in the end just kept going back to the sol...love it !!
weaver 271
what reel you goint to put on it mate??I suggest taking your reel down to a tackle store and trying it out on both and seeing which ones balances better.
Shark_Fisho 1
I have used both and prefer the SOL rod anyday
thatguy 0
I'll be puting a Daiwa Caldia 2506 on it. I have a daiwa heartland's rod atm and il just not a bigfan of the long but on it, probly coz I use to use a shimano rarer and I love the short but on that. Do you guys have any other rods you would recomend preferably with a short but.
jagger 24
Before I purchased the sol rod and reel, i was using the Caldia Kix 2004 on a 3 piece Mexican Raider II and still love it. Take it out as often as possible, in fact, i will be taking it to Browns this weekend in case they come in close !! Should be a good test for it. It has handled salmon upto 50cm before with no worries.... best $100 rod around in my eyes !
