I wouldn't say im a pro fisho and i certainly don't bag out, but I always come home with a feed so i'll try to help. I generally decide upon a specific fish that im trying to target and do all of my research well in advance of the actual fishing trip. Once i've chosen my target, I look into what they prefer to bite on, the best possible rigs, and where they are. If possible I try a couple of days in advance to make a jetty trip to acquire fresh bait, usually squid or herrings. Cheers mate, So have they outlined where all these new marine parks are yet? I prefer my surf and jetty fishing over boats, will suck if they kill of the beach.

Greetings all, Ive begun picking up the rod and reel again after a long break due to the hectic work schedule. Last time I was really 'in' to my fishing a couple of years ago there was quite a controversy surrounding all the new marine parks etc etc. Ive tried to find information on the PIRSA website regarding what areas are legal to fish, and tbh and to my embarrassment, im still confused. What I want to know is if its still ok to fish along the outer harbour breakwall? Kind Regards.
