That's come up a treat wilda, those 150 mm juvenile rainbows will grow quickly in there too, they'll fatten up nicely over the next two years.. Make sure you have a solid mess grid at the overflow to stop them going over if & when it fills and spills.. cheers Adrian

Thanks guys, yes quite often come across them in the rivers.. here's one from the Mersey River when I was fishing, it sat there until I took it's photo then moved off. It's really great to see them when fishing the rivers, I've had them swim between my legs on several occasions, I just remain motionless so they don't notice any movement. cheers Adrian

The top photo of a thistle seed head (or what ever you'd call it) was taken quite some time ago in a paddock as I was heading to a river.. the thing is the following two photos taken this morning while heading through the paddocks once again to a river are of the same type of thistle..
