i have seen fresh gawler cockles at the fish factory $7.00 a kg work that one out.

i remember a few years back the dead pilchards laying on our beaches,i went down with a mate to brighton there were thousands of dead ones .was there any outcome on what killed them off?

i have used beads but my most sucessfull rig is a running sinker rig with the sinker between two hooks,i have used beads but can take em or leave em.with cockles i tend to leave a hanging bit on a long shanked hook http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/hvGVTt6V__105_0944.JPG[/img]
