sold a few of them in my older days. Most blokes were pretty happy with them. One mate of mine took one up north and put it to test on some bigger species. Lets just say it needed some repairs when it came back. I'd say they would be suited for fish under 10lb and suit about 10-15lb braid.Great fun to play with in the shop.

I fired up the BBQ the other day and tried it again. Bloody good.James boag is a suitable substrate. I personally recommend coopers sparkling on a hot day.A spa will work equally as well as a pool as long as you can fully submerge to clean crab shells from your hair

I like cockles when i'm targeting whiting.When they are $7 to $10 a kg i will be very carefull how i use them now.You cant blame the bloke behind the counter... ( he doesn't set the price)You cant blame the cockle diggers/ suppliers ( their prices are governed by quotas, fees and availability.)If you like cockles and want to use them..... expect to pay $10 a kg from now onIf you dont want to pay $10 a kg, try another bait because cockles will never go down in price again.

Hey mate.The big advantage of wind on leaders is that they make a tiny knot when you join them to your main line. This means you can cast them through your guides and wind them back through your guides. If you use a joining knot like a uni to uni and use heavy jinkai it makes a chunky knot which will catch or clang though your guides. To join a wind on you will need a bimini. If you dont know it it i will do it for you.What is your main line.... Eg Braid in lbs?????and what pound leader do you want to run????

i have it at my shop. I got it today. Shane delivered it personally. I havent had time to read it all properly but i am very impressed. Lots of great stories and lots of new great photos. I was a little sceptical thinking that it would be sub standard. I was extremely wrong. the mag is well produced and edited. It's about time we had a new and fresh mag to read. Well done Shane 9/10

@ Turkel Mulloway are a very elusive fish to catch. Good anglers land a few in their life time.
