I just bought some inthe wet mix to take away to port broughton as I wsnt sure that they would be stocked up there. Will tell you guys how i go when i get back in a weeks time.Thanks for the tip on the taste Ranger. I am looking forward to watching the boys (both 10yrs old and new to fishing) put them on hoks. Up the river I was spending a day skiing and wakebpading when the kids were starting to get bored. Grabbed my 3 rods outa the car and some red wool.The kids were pulling in huge carp. Then we decided to try more stuff.Caught a 7kg carp on a jelly baby. Another one on bubblegum but the best was on cheese and bacon balls..The carp were going off.

All I could do was giggle as I read this thread. Bought back so many memories of my time with my ex on our boat.I used to out fish him every trip. Ended up he used to say that he was just there to drive the boat.Now with a new guy it is happening again. We go fishing and I catch more than him everytime. First trip he catches 2 mullet, I catch 5 mullet, 2 TR, 1 ST and a shark.Next trip over 5 days I am 3 up on him. Mind you this time he caught the bigger fish with 2 huge 3kg salmon at Browns Bch.Still I am in the lead and thnk it will continue.Luck or Skill?Patience I think is the key.And les s
