heres another handy BBQ tip.i cooked a heap of marinated sticks on the BBq yesterday.I put that glad bake paper down and it made it so easy to clean afterwards. I just peeled them off and chucked them away. It also keep the nice food off my crusty bbq plate so nobody got poisoned.

These recipes are wicked thanks man.Would you have any simple ones for Shark.It seems there is a lot of shark to be eaten this month.Maybe you can make it taste good for us???

right here my mullet pic.As always the pic sdoesn't do it justice.Fishing off the bank at Acramens creek near streaky bay. A school of salmon swam past and were nailing our pillies on 2x 5/0 hooks.We landed a couple of kg sized salmon and then i caught this yellow eye mullet. It wasn't as big as the salmon but it must have been swimming with the school and feeding like a salmon so it grew big and tough. Gulp alive is starting to show up in a lot of tackle shops.For those who dont know it is 3 packets of nowmal gulp in a tub full of jiuce. It is reusable, rechargable and 25% stronger apperently.Has anyone used it???It not cheap so i dont wanna cough up the big bucks until someone tries it and gives it the thumbs up.

A good customer of mine just came in from Semaphore Jetty.He said a guy at the jetty had caught a Moreton bay bug!!!!!He swears by it so i believe him.Anyone got any other weird stuff they have caught in unusual areas?????????????

The gar are also in now. Good catches coming from semaphore jetty down to Brighton Jetty. Not really thick yet but enough around to bother. Boats are getting them on kemps, acedemy ground and the coral patch.

the YFW are in now. Tennyson is always good . Heard othe rreports coming from aldinga, sellicks, port noarlunga, seacliff and brighton. Great tides this week for YFW and perfect weather also.Start now.

I was chilling one day when i thought i'd muck around with the paint scemes on a Squid Jag. I took a handfull of plain white Squid jags that glow in the dark by Surecatch. They are cheap in case i screw it up. I painted their heads in a pink soft plastic dye and it has this massive garlic scent. I finished off the lure with some red glitter on the back. It looked wicked in the water with the red shimmering in the sun. It worked wicked hey, and out fished a plain one and some killer Yo Zuri's too. I reckon we might be on to something here. Give it a try!
