Unfortunately Ranger, what you say there happens a lot. >:(Not seen it much up North, however have had it happen a few times down South whilst drifting along the cliffs for squid. Some a - hole decides to roar between all the boats drifting, to get back to the top of the line and then drift through again. Interesting comment Scorpion. Last time I was there and washing my boat down, the guy who was waiting behind me said to enjoy my time here, as they were looking at closing the ramp and selling the land for more houses. I just thought he was being a grumpy old fart cause he had to wait, but you never know.

Went to the boat show Friday after work. Don't think I would bother again if it is held in the Convention Centre again next year. Some really nice boats on show to drool over :icon_cool:, but as said above, not much in the way of tackle etc for sale.

Had a recipe for bait using cat food given to me. Have not tried it as yet. The bloke who gave it to me reckons he has caught mullet,tommies, salmon trout and other bits and pieces with it. Here it is if someone wants to give it a try.Tin of cat food: Tuna Red Meat (Cheap brand is fine)Tablespoon of Tuna oil (add more if needed during mixing)Self Raising flour (again, add more if required during mixing)Mix till a dough consistency.Only need a pea size piece on the hook.Donny
