I recently bought the 7 foot 2-4 kg and put it with a Daiwa sol 2500. Just came back from Turton and the rod was excellent!!

Caught it on cockles on a whiting rig, we where just mucking around going for a few salmon trout when the sun was going down. Hooked a big one a couple of nights before so after the days fishing we were just threw in a line, cought a few liitle KGW too. {SMILIES_PATH}/cheesy.gif

Yep should organise a weekend down there soon....... leave Sat night and come back Mon night........

I hooked a larger one the day before got it to the shore it took one look at me, turned and snapped off {SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif, only had light gear and was only going for salmon trout at the time. When its low tide you can walk out to the blue line and see them half burried in the sand. We tried to spear some huge one's but they where to quick.
