thanks sandywhiting for sending me the pic.... missing the other 3 pics, but this will give you an idea of how close he came in... this was after he had already came to shore and took his tanks off, and was heading back out to retrieve a float and jig for another bloke.he swam UNDER my line.this is my 2 piece snyderglas im giving a run for a while...

few years ago, part of my job was to make lead hammers....we would melt 100kg of pure lead, then mix in some white metal...luckily the forman at the time was also a fisho, so as long as he got a few weights, he didnt mind if we made some...only the waste lead was used that came from the old lead hammers which were flattened out, and had to be melted off to allow the new stuff to go on.then we found out just how bad it is to melt lead, for your health, and they contracted the job to an outside place...so if you manage to get hold of some lead, dont be sticking a saucepan on the wifes stove and

you need to cook them slow.... and add an old well worn work sock into the broth... simmer slow for 2 hrs, then throw everything away except for the sock and eat that.
