Been reading about some recent convictions in the courts for various breaches of the fisheries act and I have to say that I am dumb founded :icon_e_surprised:Case #1Three recreational fishers have been fined in the Christie Beach Magistrates Court recently for taking over the bag limit of snapper. Fisheries Officers inspected the three fishers catch at the Wallaroo boat ramp back on 1 December 2007. The men admitted to Fisheries Officers to catching their daily boat limit of large snapper (6 snapper over 60cms) and showed officers the fish. They stated they had no other fish onboard, however

Was speaking with Mullies_chaser earlier this afternoon about mulloway and more precisely, lures. I thought I would post pictures of those that I've been using (without success to date) for your comments. http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/ZRpGhIwo__Collection_of_softies.JPG[/img]

Anyway I digress, and I used to fish under the ANSA banner way back in the early 90's with the NDSFC. Perhaps ANSA dont know themselves when they started where {SMILIES_PATH}/undecided.gif

Just seen this thread and thought I'd one of my most meritorious and memorable sorties. I've already eluded to this story in another post but will expand on it here.We had been catching snapper between 8 & 12kg fairly reliably from a spot not 800m from shore and on this particular night it was time to take my 15yr old cuz with me in the tinnie to have a crack at them. Conditions were les than favourable with there being very little wind, but the swell was coming from the other way and making things uncomfortable. After the short trip to the spot, the berley bag was despatched and some salm -
Have noticed that someone has already started the ball rolling on this idea, so thought I'd ad mine.12.1kg Snapper taken on 2kg Maxima Fibre Glow. Took 45min to land and came soon after boating a 13.1kg fish on the (light {SMILIES_PATH}/huh.gif) 10kg gear.@ addict nice local red m8. Bit hard to tell correct weight as your hlding the fish away from you but yeh reckon its around the 8kg mark. Spent a few cold dark hours out there myself on Sunday & Monday Mornings for a donut {SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif. Reckon the water was too clear where I was fishing and should have ventured further.Reckon, t

Are this shots near a wharf, on the edge of the channel, where? What exactly are we looking at?The flash of light in the 1st video had me saying "what the......." till that little fidh stopped to say g'day!Certainly is interesting stuff that. good on you for sharing

Been using carp for ages myself. Sure it stinks but its oilly and tuff! Have caught snapper, bream, and salmon on it. Havent yet tried it on the whiting but couldnt see why it wouldnt work.Another gun bait for the reds is sauries (cross between a pillie and a gardie) gr8 bait.
