  5. hallet cove champ , we had perfect wind for drifting and it was a dodge, picked up all our squid in about a kilometre stretch along the rocks no deeper than 12 feet of water so u could cast that with a float and surf rod ,Always freeze your squid first mate it tenderises them never eat fresh . ive posted before about cove point ule get your bag there in the right conditions . We got our 30 in under 3 hours so they are there, got plenty of bait at the moment after that haul, might even do some smoked squid mmmmmmmm seafood jerky
  6. just had a suss and 35 08 059, 138 26 439 definately isnt in the area but change the 059 to 859 and its in the area, also the other old mark i had 35 08 887, 138 26 498 is around the same area also. ile check them out next time im out there as i think my old mark was incorrect as i remember finding one wreck but not the othercheers
  7. Cheers brent, yes quite different arent they! as long as it gets u within 10 metres or so its all good lol. just found my old reference which sounds fairly close to one i posted earlier 35 08 887, 138 26 498, might go check it on gps now have u visited lumb with those numbers?

Thanks ranger after some looking around i managed to find the marks pretty easily for anyone else whos interested the lumb is at lat 35 08 881s long 138 26 530e and the other one which isnt too far away from lumb and lesser known is the SEA WOLF : sorry thought it was called wolf ;D, which is at address lat 35 08 879s long 138 26 525e cheers

  10. gday just wondering if anyone knos the marks for H.A lumb and the wolf wreck of port noarlunga got the lumb in GDA 94 but need it in WGS84 use to have both but have lost them some how ??? any help weill be appreciated cheers

  13. Some good pb's there fellas my best from onk is 48.5 on plastics weighed 2kg exactly, dozens over 40 too
  14. Zero's are nice but as big lizard pointed out for the price you cant go wrong, i run a tourny pro midspin with an advantage 3000 for catchin pan size snapper around 60's handles it well.......goood fun ;D

  16. Top reel mate been using one for 3 years now, only thing is i went arse up bout a month ago wading in the onk and unfortunately the certate went in the drink silt and all :. sent off for a service and clean..........they replaced all bearings $120. oh well was due for service anyway

Sounds good cal will have to do the same ;D got a similar rod in from the US same length just called t.d surf must be the old model from the silver ones you get now coz this ones black 8),same length 25-50lb cast 6-8ou xh. As im using the same reel ure running with no level wind was thinking the same thing.
