Have there been issues with the newer blue one? Or is it just the gay colour??? lolI have only had mine for a short while, its one of the blue ones. Certainly stands out colourwise.

Yeh they are definitely a top reel. Ive caught a lot of good fish on mine, and it has been hammered for a long time.Was purely giving some honest feedback about a problem mine has had.

Certate 2000 is a great little bream and trout reel, and will also handle a few other larger species.Ive had a few problems with mine [spool seizing to the bearings, gears not meshing properly] after a lot of use, but the shop i go through and Daiwa Aus have looked after me... If you do need to send her in under warranty though, dont expect it back in a hurry.
