  1. Welcome to the site kenneth. I have had the same problem with squid before as well. I don't think there is any way of visibly seeing whether a squid/cuttlefish is pregnant without cutting it up unfortunately. Good to hear you were prepared to do the right thing though. :clap:

  2. Yeah I think tying a blood knot will be better. The snap swivel already changes the tow point from the actual lure so I don't think a loop knot is necessary. Because of their vigorous action, vibes don't have to be work too hard. The simple vertical lift and drop technique will imitate an injured baitfish fluttering down through the water column.Cheers, breambo.

  3. Hi guys,I'm just after to any helpful suggestions regarding surf salmon rigs. At the moment I use an ezy-rig with 40lb mono, 2-3 ganged size 3/0 hooks, a squidgy flick bait or fish on a dropper and a star sinker. Just wondering whether any of you have slight modifications in your rigs that help you to catch more fish. I'm open to any suggestions.
