  1. Just did a search on the net and it came up on the West Coast. Will offer the officer on the day part of the catch if i'm over !
  2. From what i can work out, it would seem that the 100 limit is for those cockles taken from now on, would be for the West Coast only.As i have seen they also live quite well(the goolwa cockle)over there.Cape Catasrophe is on the West Coast and the lines that they are describing would be to my calculations exactly that. Hope i'm right cause i'm off to Goolwa tomorrow to get some And 300 PP at that!
  3. Thanks archerfish,I did end up getting hold of an old add and found them. It just so happens to be the same mob. Thanks for all the other offers but these guys were the closest to me.Great value if you are going thru a few cockles and there a good size cockle as well. Normally go for a dig down Goolwa but just have not got there over the past two years and with the closure last season buggered me up a little, so have a great stock now.Cheers
  4. Does anyone have any contact info for the guy that advertises 20kg lots of Goolwa cockles sometimes in the weekend paper for sale ?

    Blood Worms

Thanks Ranger, from what i read and hear it does sound a little that way with the good luck theme.Might give it a couple of nights into the moon and go for a run.Just trying to come up with a new source of free bait other than the gold covered cockle.Cheers
  6. Can anyone help us out with the timing of the Port River Blood Worm run ?I'm hearing various stories about it, mainly because the feedback i'm getting comes from some years ago. From what i understand they (the worms) should start their run on the night of the first tide out after the new moon in July. Can anyone confirm or give us some some better indication of the event !Cheers fodfa
  7. Yep agree with the Boat show deal, what a waste of 15 bux. And also with the ctn thing we could have both chipped in the 15 and had a really good afternoon. Not next year !
