Big red chaser

As many seem worried about using such a reel from the beach......How about the Saltiga Surf?Cheaper than the standard Saltiga, and especially designed to handle all the beach can throw at it!http://www.daiwa.com/reel/detail.aspx?id=199

I would def go the saltiga. although for a surf reel I would go for something cheaper. the two reels I use for my mullies in the surf are a daiwa windcast and a daiwa saltist. both handle any size mully. I also use the saltist on a monster mesh rod for kingies and tuna from the boat.

I can feel a debate coming on.But really when it comes down to it this is just Holden vs Ford etc. An argue that will simply will come down to opinion and preference not true facts.My only advice is feel both Reels, do your Research and make your own decision. You should decide which will suit you the best. Both have their advantages over the other.Good luck with your choice; either way you will have the best of the best. I am jealous. TT

Saltiga all the way.... Caught tuna, sharks you name it on mine. Bullet proof reel! Can't speak highly enough about it!
