Already had someone catch and keep a snapper of around 45-50cm in the onk today and kept it... unbelievable
filth pure filth .. wait snapper in the onk? haha thats new!

wow that sucks big time have heard of a lot of the cheaper cameras doing that but not the go pro :/
-
is it footage taken from the go-pro? or was it on there previous to installing the card in the camera... because if the go-pro has formatted the card that may be why you lost it.. when i was getting into photography I had a stack of racing photos to send to street machine and the camera had decided to format itself and i lost all the photos i kinda gave up after that haha
-
honestly Del you sound really unlucky to be completely honest the go pro brand have in most cases that i have seen been bullet-proof

I believe graphite!! the first reason is it is a lot thinner and with a decent reel is probably half the weight of a fibreglass rod.... second is you see even the smallest of bites... I believe with braid there is no other easier way to catch the fish.. the odds seem to be forever on your side with graphite... i can constantly out fish mates who have fibreglass rods.... tbh I was skeptical at first on the difference between the two thinking there possibly could not be that much of a difference then I used Fishingmad's daiwa gen black and then you go back to the fibreglass and it feels gross, heavy unresponsive and just less hookups

probably maximum $250 I know I'm pushing it to get a decent combo but you know apprentice wages aren't too flash..... have been looking at the symetres and bcf have the combo deal that looks good basically the reel for $149 with a free rod but you pay for what you get.... I have the Shakespeare slingshot in the 6-8 kg range and that's really good for mostly anything but want something reasonably light.... Southie I'm sort of looking for an all round rod mainly for yellow fin with kg's every now and then but i can flick baits in the onka for bream as well tough ask i know

Hi guys,
being put on as an apprentice mechanic has started to get a bit of cash flow going around and im looking at a light graphite rod that i can use as a whiting rod in around the 2-4kg range with a decent reel... My question is, is this possible or should i just buy the rod and reel seperately. if you recommend a combo what would you guys get?
Cheers langley

Hi all me and a mate ran out of cockles one day and we actually tried chewing gum (chewed of course) and that worked well was really funny to watch them trying to take the chewy off the hook caught a nice sized 28cm bream
-
yep red mullet for sure the blue stripes help to identify that one apart from being red
never seen anything like that bottom one interesting to see what it is??
-
can definitely vouch for fishing mads method of a size 4 hook with a bit of pilly at the onk mouth sends em crazy and you always have a chance of something else which is nice.

Hi milmo thanks for that what sort of rigs/bait do you use?
-
