Just thought I'd let everyone know I'm still around,I'll find out latter this month if I am having my knee replaced or not.Was told I'm not but then in the letter to my GP the hospital GP said I probably will be , just waiting on the surgeon to decide.Enough of that!!!Have been consumed with making that small/tiny popper fly,when I haven't been sick or working. FINALLY getting there with it. For the better fly tiers it would be easy but he with 10 thumbs those small flies are a bugger.And I am going super glue free for a change!!!!So :dry: anyway the wife thought I need to go have a flick.I

    Benny seems to find them in West Lakes .I used to find them when they were feeding.Never landed one but lost a few on the FLY.
  11. hahaha Nick I have a couple of weeks off due to the weather .But missed 6 weeks after my knee went bung again after exiting the lake.I didnt do anything or trip .Then I kicked the footy at work a fortnight ago and I'm still having problems .Lets just say if u see an old grey headed bloke unable to straighten a leg that will be me . Operation some time after September if I'm luckyAnyway enough of that dribble I'll be out there trying tomorrow RDO .The last two trips proved fruitless .Last trip I found the bream to be sitting mid water or my knee height with the water up to my well u know

  14. I went looking for some colourful feathers this morning. Found some colourful feather boa's at both Spotlight and The Reject shop.The reject shop won out on price and colour variety .The funniest thing was watching the young teenage checkout chicks face I didnt have the heart to tell I wasn't planning on wearing them

  21. but just on the safe side I always check cash converters .have only seen 1 fly reel with line they wanted 40 bucks for it .i had laugh with the wife as i paid 60 for rod and reel brand new .
