Bagged out at port victoria 2 weeks ago, my son and i launched at 5.00 in morning ,first cast each, yes and we were on boat limit by 8.30 am , returned to boat ramp looking like a black fella .lol my favourite way to eat squid is pickled, my recipe is, boil squid in salt water couple of mins,drain and let cool,garlic, chillie ,all finely diced ,put in a air tight jar half vinegar and and half boiled water, cooled,with a touch of salt and pepper and sugar,mmmm.enjoy. my tip is get your jig as close to the bottom without snagging up,as this is where they lie waiting for a feed
