  10. So today I headed off to Semaphore Jetty hoping for some salmon better than the ones we've been getting. It was rainy, windy weather which attracts salmon! We managed to land a massive 29cm salmon close to shore in the 10th cast followed by a nice mullet! :woohoo: It was a good sign! We kept fishing and landed heaps more salmon and 2 mullet! Even mum joined in!It was crazy but that wasn't the end! All the salmon moved off to the deeper water so we moved too. We landed another 19 plump salmon! Every cast! In less then 20 seconds of casting, we were on! :woohoo: Here is a photo of a juicy sa
  11. That must have been amazing seeing the massive school of bream! I can imagine, I'd be going crazy!
  12. I was wondering if anybody has landed a bream on a metro jetty? I was at Semaphore Jetty the other day and spoke to a local fisherman. He was going for bream or whiting just as the sun was setting. He told me when he was younger, he used to fish there a lot. Most of the time, he would catch a nice feed of bream off the jetty. His PB bream was apparently 64cm and caught off Semaphore Jetty! I don't know if that was correct or if it was estimated, but he told me! :woohoo: I was amazed but he was a nice bloke! So any bream tips or photos of bream off metro jetties?Cheers Alex.

  14. It's also been the same in West Lakes.... It happened last year so I think it's not the season or something.
  15. I think it's illegal to fish of the pontoon. But there is a spot next to the bridge there! I've fished there many times and had some luck with salmon trout 22-25cm.
  16. I was thinking about going to OH, but the rocks are 4 times as many as west beach boat ramp... Man they are tough to climb!
  17. Caught this port river dolphin on film chasing a slimy mackerel! :cheer:
  18. G'day guys, I might have a 4hr session at west beach boat ramp this weekend. Just wondering what hangs around there. Im mostly going for decent salmon, tommies and maybe bream. I might even try for a ray? Never caught one before. Cheers Alex
  19. So I went for a quick 1.45hr sesh in the torrens lake a couple of weeks back. At first It was slow. I threw some loose food out to get them going.About 20 minutes into the sesh, I had a small take. I lifted my rod and set the hook. I landed this stinkin Crucian Carp! It was my first ever Crucian. Never knew they were around the torrens lake! 10 minutes after, I was tying another rig onto my other rod which got snagged WHEN SUDDENLY I SEE MY OTHER ROD STEAMING OFF! :woohoo: I got so excited and took this magnificent fight! But I got it towards the edge and reached for it! It was one heavy bea
