  2. These guys work a treat for salmon! You might just want to get a bigger one though. this one is for small st and flatties.
  3. What bait for the Bream and salmon Booma? Or were you using lures?Salmon are my favourite species to target on SP! They seem to be getting a little bigger!

  5. So I headed off to Henley beach with a mate in the morning. We got set up as quickly as possible because we were excited! We used a squidgy lure and smothered it with Sfactor. My mate didn't think we would catch anything because he has never been surf fishing before. The Sp.We started casting out around 10m off the beach. My mate kept doubting me and saying we will never catch anything out here. :pinch: And on 3rd cast, I hook a small st! I guess the Sfactor really did the damage! He was so excited and was going crazy!!! :silly: :S I PROVED YOU WRONG! Ahaha We got a pic. Well, we release
  6. Hey guys/galsThis is my PB bream caught on prawns in a location where people least expect! Was 35cm!!! :woohoo: Very few people know the location. 7. If anyone has evidence (photo), I would like to see it! But still, I think Kingies can get into West Lakes. A couple of months ago at the Trimmer Parade end, I saw massive schools of 50cm+ salmon swimming out and in of the gates and some monster whiting. So many different species there.Saw a dark shape on the sandy bottom! :woohoo: It was moving, so it was definately a creature! Wasn't that big though. It was probably a small ray of some sort.Cheers Alex.
  8. Sorry Yorke_angler, I meant a small whole squid. And it is legal.

  10. Hey guys, I am a new member to this forum and It seems like a great page!I have been fishing in the Torrens many times but I'm just wondering if there are any good spots around the South rd bridge? I've seen many carp mooching on the surface near the bridge but I don't know if they will take the bait? I usually use corn but maybe weightless bread might work?I've also heard that a redfin was caught under the bridge from this forum. I didn't think redfin were in the lower torrens! Cheers Alex.
