  1. gday mate. they definatly like a moving tide and once berlied in back it right off. also if they are going off the bight or are just touchy try slowly reeling in or just pulling it in a meter or two then just letting it back out, as i find they sometimes like a moving bait when theyre touchy. you will often find they will just hook themselves when your reeling in. good luck mate hope you get into them
  2. gday shimsman thanks for the great post always good to listen to how others do things and hopefully learn a thing or two.I was actually wondering the same thing as Poppa and was already thinking about cutting the dropper loops as you said. do you make an extra large loop so as when you cut it the hook it is a reasonable distance of the rig? or have you found it doesn't make too much diiference? cheers mate
  3. gday mate mate there is fish to be caught I have been launching at wirrina a lot more lately and been getting a few good feeds of KG's just off Normanville and carrakalinga in about 18 foot. definitely close enough for kayak plenty of holes to be found.also was doing allright on early morning reds before the closure a bit further out in about thirty feet. cant say ive tried the creek though mate.
  4. bad luck mate on the gear mate goes to show no matter where you are people cant be trusted. I was only down there recently and hadn't been for a while and found the amount of rubbish was huge. people wonder why things eventually get closed
