grego 0 Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 after a recent windfall. aka shogun2. ive been able to put 300 bucks away for a new combo. now. i would like to use this combo for some fresh water stuff(never done any but am going to ). but also use it for salt water stuff. so thinking something in the 2-4 kg range with a 2000 reel maybe? whats everyone reckon. im looking for somethings thats a bit tough aswell. cheers lads .grego Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Del 245 Posted December 1, 2010 Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 greg have a chat to softy when next at work.. we use 7' 2-4kg sticks with a 2000 reel for chasing our freshies as well as whiting etc currently im running a Shimano Raider II with a daiwa excellor 2000. it has done the job on fish up to about 16lb so far. its a great little combo grego 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
