recent windfall

after a recent windfall. aka shogun2. ive been able to put 300 bucks away for a new combo. now. i would like to use this combo for some fresh water stuff(never done any but am going to ;)). but also use it for salt water stuff. so thinking something in the 2-4 kg range with a 2000 reel maybe? whats everyone reckon. im looking for somethings thats a bit tough aswell. cheers lads .grego

I agree with the above grego! lucky about your windfall B) my 1200 dollar win on the melbourne cup lasted 45 mins until we got to the wedding photographers place :unsure: :dry:

twelve hundred don't go far in the scheme of weddings.....and second ( :ohmy: ) was 20 years ago :ohmy: should've said "what Melbourne Cup"? :laugh:

Pick yourself up either a Freams Kix for $169 or a TD Tierra $199 both on sale at Ray and Annes tackle.
