mully_madness 1 Posted January 5, 2011 Report Share Posted January 5, 2011 hey fellas was fishing the onk yesterday afternoon up at old noarlunga just where the bend comes into the town and too my surprize i managed too land myself a 30 cm or so salmon i knwo they do get up round that way in the cooler months but then i proceeded too be waterboys first customer this morning and headed too another part of the river bit further down stream too land another 1 of around the same size this morning, anyway im just wondering if anyone else has been encountering them in there sessions down the onk. cheers MM Quote Link to post Share on other sites
MarsOne 137 Posted January 6, 2011 Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 I reckon it was late spring 2 years ago I went though there, at a dodge tide....Could spot salmon, some would have been pushing 40cm or so I reckon. Big fish - but only ever caught barely legals around there. I'm positive they were salmon as well - sunny day, could see them clearly. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
