my cousin caught 1 mullet at port adelaide on a lure 2nd casttry the patawalonga river heard they get them there

mullet in north haven too, not monsters but some decent ones

make sure that the flood gates r open otherwise there is no movement in the water and the fish dont bite

not locally for me........eastern Yorkes beaches are loaded with them on the morning high tides.Easter break,I got 40 each morning in a couple of hours until the sun got higher,and the tide fell away.all over 26cm,bigger ones giving 38cm a nudge.

yeh i heard about people catching mullet at north haven ive gotta try there sometime yeh eastern yorkes beaches are loaded with them

what do you do with the mullet? fry bake smoke or for bait?

fresh fillets for breakfast every morning and the frames and offal into berley blocks for snapper

i use mine for bait

they are great to eat fresh,but in my opinion don't freeze well......as bait they are also great fresh for mullies and snaps over that way........once they've been frozen,keep them for crab nets and sharks / rays

early morning inbetween brighton and glenelg, if you get a high tide will help to. you will see some old boys down there going for them aswell...

geez how wrong i was on this thread i expected to see pics of billy ray cyrus look alikes running down anzac highway.but many years ago remember catching plenty of mullet under the bridge at gdn island no idea if they have been getting them there anymore

Here ya go bigtime, is this what you were expecting? Now seriously... Any mullet down south? I've heard there are a few inside O'sully's breakwater near the boat ramp and pontoons.

Was down at the bridge last week and just on the right as you get to it in the shallows by the mangroves there were a couple of guys just hauling them in.Were using plenty of berley to keep them there though.

Plenty off Southport, but most are only just legal
