Bear_necess 0
Has anyone heard of any reds coming from the Oil Rigs? The tides on Saturday are slack so thinking of heading to deeper waters
dale1396235468 0
few weeks ago heard there where a few on the oil legs& sat with calm seas after this blow and slack water would definately worth a look might see you out there, a mate just brought his 22footer back from the shack. urhookedfish 12
Mid May-Late May is definately the time to get REDS on the leg.The hardest part is getting em to bite at this time of the year.I would say a good burley trail is the KEY to getting the schools to fire. urhookedfish 12
But last time I fished the Legs on dodge, we pulled a doughnut. So Im wary of fishing Dodges out there now. I know it helps keep your bait on the bottom, but I would prefer to fish it with good tides, but with heavier leads and just fish the hour lead up to change and hour after. If anyone does head out there During May regardless of tide, im keen to hear how you do?? Bear_necess 0
Interesting, I must admit that the last time I fished there on a dodge, it took a while to get them to bite and prior to that on a good tide, they were very active and bigger fish.
