brenton 637
Try some cheap spinners in yellow and black or green and yellow or a scounger type grub in yellow/orange and you will soon know if there are reddies about. cheers brenton
tonyb 1,017
Hey Pretz, try buying a couple of tubs of maggots and trickle a few in every day for a week to the deepest holes in the creek. One of the oldest tricks in the book is to tie a dead chook, rabbit whatever over a fishy spot and the blow fly maggots keep falling off into the water. Gourmet dining for any fish.Go down with a tiny stick float and a bunch of maggots on a size 8 chemically sharpened hook (Owner" and "Gamakatsu" are among the best) and work all corners of the pools out not forgetting to trickle more maggots while you're Fishing. My bet is that the first fish of any species you catch will have a belly full of maggots! Cheers, Tony.
