Caught off Seaford on a barbed hook style squid jag baited with squid legs.weighed, after it had emptied itself of water and ink, it came in at exactly 5kgs! They look huge but that could be the magnification which occurs underwater. Still, if you're using snapper gear to haul em out Incidentally cuttle "candles",sliced and tip hooked over cockles seem to catch a lot bigger class of KGW's down at our end of the gulf than just cockles.
