Cal 480
G"day guys,I have got my mits on a lure from the States, its a Reefrunner Depp Lil Ripper. The stats are it will dive on retrieve 8 to 10 feet. These lures have quite a reputation as being very good on slow retrieve, and having a very tough finish. Also rated as one of the best actions[top 10] in Frank Prokops Lure Encyclopedia.I am looking at it as something different to chuck at Big Bream and Schoolies in WL, and maybe prospect some deep pools in my favourite Trout /Reddy streams in the Mid North. The colour of this particular one is "perch" which I thought is thereabouts "Pumkinseed" which seems to have the runs on the board as being a good allround colour in WL and for trout. The lure is maybe what most would consider on the large side at 3.5 inch but you never know your luck.Anyhow I will endevour to give it a field test in the not too distant future, and relay any good/bad feedback.Cheers and good fishing. 8)
