mickxr6 1 Posted October 21, 2012 Report Share Posted October 21, 2012 A mate and I headed up towards Pelican point last night for a squirt on our enduro bikes to have a look around and we were surprised that the old dirt road next to the Submarine base was reopened! Seems like the local council have even built a little shade area and hopefully it won't get vandalised and they shut it off again. Just up the road was another open road back to the area closer to Pelican point. I'm not sure if the gate is closed at night for this spot but I'm happy that places have been reopened because we used to spend many hours throwing lures around for ST's there. Hopefully everyone respects these areas so the local councils will have no second thoughts on reopening some more areas that have been lost to LB fishermen. Mick.
