Crusher 18 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 Interested in the wilson fsu4120 in the 2pce spin model rrp 160 bucks...has anyone used this rod and what do they think...want to use it possibly for medium salmon in the surf. cheersWe recommend these rods to people in our club (gawler Angling Club) for thier first Beach rod. they are pretty forgiving and you can target a variety of species. can be sued from the rocks casting big flaots as well. i still have my original wilson 4120 and also an extended rodworks 6120 that i could pull a truck with (figure of speach i wouldnt actually try, i love this rod)The difference between the 4120 and 5120 is load rating and number of fibre glass wraps.i use my 4120 with a 4500b baitrunner. 20lb powerpro braid.
