bent87 0 Posted February 4, 2013 Report Share Posted February 4, 2013 Just wondered if anyone has had the priviledge of fishing the Port Stanvac jetty? My understanding is that it's currently only an option for the oil refinery employees, and it is a no go zone for boats. There's been recent talk of the possibility of the rules changing....so, has anyone fished it? Heard of someone fishing it? Heard any recent news/ speculation? Cal 480 Posted February 4, 2013 Report Share Posted February 4, 2013 I have fished it , a friends step dad worked there, stick my neck out and say best jetty in the state, wall to wall salmon, we also caught 2 legal snaps, squid, nice silver trevally and tommies.The salmon up to 4lbs were that thick it was almost impossible to get a bait past them.cheers pauly s 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
