fished out 0
Seeing as Lord Black Billy Hasn't been on the site for a couple of months I will ask for the General verdict.............Does any body use the tackle busters gear? I am looking at Bait runners and Swore to Myself I wouldn't look at Jarvis Walker a longtime ago but found myself looking At a Marado the Other Day.I am particularly interested in the 4000 Bait Runner. http://tacklebusters.com.au/fishing-reels/j40fr-baitrunner-reel Cheers, Fished Out

smokeykebab 175
lol if you want value for money get an okuma baitfeeder. i use the epix, avenger, trio, axeon II and stinson and can't fault them. the marado will do the job but its not the smoothest or most reliable reel out there. better of spending double and getting an okuma. stay away from the Outdoor Expedition, Tidal, Pursuit reels there trash the rods are ok for the price. the rovex is just a rebadged marado same specs i'd stay away from it though. jackblack86 5
I have the Live liner 760 good reels using the HT100 drag. super smooth and absolutely bulletproof. solid construction and my two have been thrashed. Both loaded with 30lb braid but i'd go for 20lb on the 560. You won't be disappointed with it, simple and well built
fished out 0
The 560l has Taken my preference.Reading online the Penn have almost non existent bad raps but the Okuma has enough to have me doubting it.What do you use your Live Liner 760 for JackBlack? jackblack86 5
Mainly on my surf setups. Caught the 18kg gummy in my pic on it plus plenty of rays and even a seven gill. Had BIG runs on them and they seem to love it. Also use it for live baiting on metro mullies that I don't catch. They have seen some action and haven't skipped a beat. Coated in water and sand (as surf gear does) quick rinse after the trip and all good. They may feel and look like they are dated but as said before bulletproof and reliable. fished out 0
I Think I will go into R&A's sometime soon and have a fiddle with the 560. I am thinking of spooling up with Platypus Lo Stretch line. Any experiences? Thanks for all the Help, Fished out
Just Me 0
Platypus is good line, just from my personal experience, i find heavier (like 14lb plus) mono line on spinners tends to coil up, might just be the line i was using. I've got my 560L spooled with 30lb Power pro. Good reel for the $.
