rocket102 0 Posted November 12, 2008 Report Share Posted November 12, 2008 I am knew to ocean fishing I have spent most of my life fishing in the Murray/Darling river and cooper creek systems for Yellow belly (callop) ,cod, catfish,yabbies etc.can you tell me which sharks are ok to keep I know some are protected and some are full of mercury and amonia so which ones are Ok and any one got a nice recipe. benny 1 Posted November 12, 2008 Report Share Posted November 12, 2008 Most sharks are worht eating, except for Great Whites as they are protected. Bronzies are good apparently, as most sharks are. I wpuold prefer to release them, instead of keeping them. I kept a fiddler ray once and the meat in the tail was pretty good (tasted like flathead). Quote Link to post Share on other sites
