Hi guys,Went out on the boat off of o'sullies and mrs caught one of these again.I posted pics last time and Tyke suggested it may be a smokehouse cod.Cant seem to match it up in the fishes of SA book.Any ideas? Excuse my ignorance but all my fishing has been in the uk on lakes and rivers, so sea fishing is a whole new ball game. Wouldnt like to take something dodgy or illegal.CheersColin size=600http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/Bm6aj9Mz__fish.JPG[/img]

Nothing worth worrying about champ.Soft mushy flesh although they do have a habit of popping up in areas down south where you generally want to catch KGW and they actuall fight like them as well (frustrating !!)Good fun on light gear as they get fairly large in size and weight.Name.... parrot fish, wrasse of some sought, shitty.... not 100% but theyr'e a throw back either way

The other fish you caught looks like a "Fiddler" - a type of Ray with a segmented body and a pair of "legs" underneath :icon_e_surprised:We caught 2 the other day - useless things they are. Also pulled in two Sharks - Port Jackson Sharks - harmless and useless ,but never the less the first on our boat.
