benny 1
I mainly get blueys in about 1.5 metres or deeper over a sandy bottom. I find the crabbing gets better in the dirty water as they get on the move and we generally get more of them than calm clear days. Also crabbing is better after dark, especially on low tide in the deeper waters.

carps 1
stormy are you in boat mate or land based if by boat head out from nth haven vear left and sit about 1 to 1.5 km of the semaphore jetty by memory its about 15 ft of water and produces well all summer it will fire up to full swing over the next couple of months..as for baits pretty much any thing fishy will catch them (remembering fish only no meat or poultry products)but i find couta heads work the best and you will without fail get a feed on them..enjoy mate and have fun look forward to hearing about you eating them tasty little buggers oh yea and if you are land based id listen to benny cos i aint a clue where to start there
benny 1
A tip... semi has a few big blueys now Gotta head there after dark and preferably not on the weekend, give it a few hours cos it takes time for the crabs to get the scent of your bait. Big meaty blueys out, got a 54cm one the other night
carps 1
yep they are big and full just not in numbers yet
benny 1
Thats right. Still easy to get a feed though, some blokes got about 15 good blueys and a couple of sandies there the other night, and they were there for only an hour.
