Shimano Sustain vs Stradic

Gday all.I'm thinking of getting a new reel and am un-decided between the two models: Sustain 3000 and Stradic 3000.It's going to be used as a bit of a jack-of-all-trades set-up with a 7 to 8 foot rod for whiting, salmon trout, flathead, schoolies, etc.Does anyone have any experience with either or both of them?I know they're on a different level of price, is this an accurate reflection of their quality or lack thereof?If I go for the cheaper Stradic will I be kicking myself in 6 months, wishing I'd spent the extra $$$ on the Sustain?Any advice is greatly appreciated.Thanks and cheers.

hey matei own two stradics the 2500(older version pearl/white body colour) and a 4000. For the price i believe they are awesome reels. The 2500 is my jack of all trades and ive Caught anything from gar to 5kg snapper on it. The 4000 is my snapper squidgy rod which i haven’t used yet but im hanging out like you wouldn’t believe. Throw some 6 or 8 pound braid on her mate and trust me it will quickly become your favourite reel or at least one of.

Haven't used the sustain, but ive got an 8000fi stradic and i love it. Appart from a daiwa tierra the stradic is the only reel ive spent good money on, and i love how it feels compared to my cheaper reels.Like others have said i think either reel would keep you smiling
