Bugger this weather, I was gonna let the kids take me fishing for fathers day!! Oh well, a three year old is no good on anchor duty anyway!I see that flows are going into the Onk. Is this weather good for u guys that fish the rivers? Does it stir things up or is it a bit too much at the moment?Just curious

I was down at Southport yesterday, huge brown plume of muddy fresh water coming out of the mouth and heading out to sea, I fished the edges but got nothing, although birds were picking heaps of small things out of the stained water.

Probably better once things have moderated a bit RB. I was going to head in for some carp at a local river today, but given the current in there just now, Im sure Id be wasting my time.maybe take a rain cheque on the Fathers Day outing ( scuse the pun )

They'd be hanging around the mouth of the Torrens too, and possibly Outer harbor also

I was thinking the same thing as borryking and salty, I had a squid head sitting out on the edge of the fresh and salt for awhile but no action. I brought the flick stick along and was really hoping to pick up and st or two for livebait, but no luck with that either.
