  2. I think he was impressed, as he rang me soon after to let me know what you had kindly donated to the prize pool for our end of year show.So now I have to figure out which game I will give this away as the prize for. ;D ;D
  3. Hint!look at the logo in the bottom of his posts :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
  4. lmfao Luke, .I was wondering do you ever take them board shorts off, or are they like the favorite fishing boardiesI like your tank
  5. yes your right about that lure, but I had changed the split ring already :icon_e_surprised:It was one of those times where I had tried many lures until I found this colour worked on the day.
  6. do you mean size ect for the ratings?I have no idea, it was this.....big :icon_lol:hear is a pic of the whole fish http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/HYK0tL3X__DSC00937_800x600.JPG[/img]
  7. Just a thought all the Shimano stuff I have ever brought has clear english instructions. :icon_e_surprised:
  8. Last weekend I managed to get away with some mates for some fishing staying over pine point way.I did Ok on the light gear chasing some salmon, this fish gave me a good run for nearly 10min.I lost the next fish I hooked when the split ring let go at the side of the boat. :(and when I got home to look at my pics I noticed why. : : http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/AeJKjnxI__pine_point_salmon_800x600.JPG[/img]
  9. @ Yak I still wonder if that's correct as the box had an Australian warranty card in it?@ kayakfisher :PI like my daiwa stuff but my point is this. Here we have a large foreign company that sells a mountain of stuff in this country and doesn’t comply with our laws and doesn’t give a toss about them apparently. As under Australian trade practices act everything sold in Australia must have clear instructions/manuals, In English. Now I know how to use a fishing reel as well as the next bloke.BUTIf you brought a camera/computer program/ PS3 game/whatever that did
  10. Chucky, the reel is an australian number and not a jap market import as the 5 year warranty card is in english. ::)I spoke to Daiwa today and was told they sell these reels all over the world but only offer a Japanese instruction manual. Was told that this is there normal position and that only a few manuals are in english but not the good stuff apparently.there stand, stiff shit apparently @ Grumpy, yep they got pics but if you can figure it out, do tell. http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/1yzxsTjl__DSC00978_800x600.JPG[/img]
  11. that is just plain wrong why do they need to kill a big ray, just what is the point? dumb, just plain dumb. I dont have an issue as to catching them but surely catch and release is the go after you land it, if its not for food ect, dont you think?
  12. I cant believe in this day and age that daiwa still only have japanese manuels, for there products that are sold in Australia from there tournament dealers. What a lot of crap that is >
  13. Darn straight these guys are great always willing to go the extra yards to help you out, whether it be with new fishing gear your bait or if your in a jam like Gobbs was.I cant recommend them highly enough ;D

  18. Weaver, nice spinners are those the moulds from do it in the US?The hard bodies are a start and we all need to start somewhere when we muck about with things.you've got me thinking, Ive got a few wood lathes in storage just might need to get one out and see if I can turn up some lure bodys.I just got some sinker moulds from Do-it today, I am yet to play with them but the box had a nice catalogue from them with lots of new toys for me to buy ;D Cheers Ian ;D
