  12. Yeah in a boat is a different story.A big hard case tackle box is good for a boat where you don't need to worry about bulk or weight. Hard case tackle boxs also have easy access when on a boat.
  13. I have a few tackle boxs depending on what fish im going for.A tack box filled with shark tackle, a tackle box filled with just mully tackle which should be seperate to everything else. And a larger tackle box for everything else which i'll take on big trips. When i head to the jetty or beach i'll take my mully tackle box with a bum bag tackle box filled with spare sinkers line and hooks. You don't want to be lugging your entire fishing collection with you everywhere you go!
  14. The fireline should be perfect for it and it's not too expensive. It does get a little fluffy after about a years hard work but it doesn't cost much to replace. I get the 125yd spools for bream, school mulloway, salmon, snook etc.. usually in the 4-6lb range with some cheap line for backing. When it's really windy i do get some wind knots but apart from that can't complain.
  15. got any good spots you recommend I can try?
  16. Hey,Thanks for the advice. What type of rig should I use in the lake for livebaiting?
  17. Hey,Just wondering if anyone can give me and hints and spots to livebait for Mulloway around the Port River and West Lakes land based. Also, any spots I can get to with my tinnie it would be appreciated.I tried fishing on the right hand side of Birkenhead Bridge on the Fishermans wharf side but caught just small bream and could not get anything to use for livebait. I was going to pop a live bream out for livebait but didn't know if they would be any good down there for Mulloway. I know they are a good bait in the Onk for Mulloway. Also, is the best technique throwing an unweighted livebait out
  18. I broke in my 13 foot Daiwa Sensor yesterday.I was using 30lb Saltiga Surf Braid.
  19. I have organised to get a Pacific Composite 4120 Graphite rod made up and extended to 12 ft 9 inch.It will be rated 10 - 15kg.
  20. I have a Saltiga Surf Spinning reel and want to get a rod to suit.I will be using it at Salt Creek and yalata for mulloway.II have been looking at a pacific composite 4120 graphite 12'9" 10-15kg 2 piece rod at fishermans paradise.Anyone recommend anything else?
