  1. Thats a classic post morningfresh, what a dick
  2. you can get bream, flathead (have seen an 80cm one come from the onk), yellowfin whiting and mullies. I know of people getting ones over a metre around 20lb
  3. I have a tribal style hammerhead on my calf. Will upload a photo later
  4. Doggies are a protected species and must be returned to the water safely and swiftly.
  5. I live just near the onk in Porties south, the cast nets are not the only problem. Of late some people have been caught setting nets in there. Something like 10 nets have been found and removed but people are still doing it. They will hammer all the small bream and also the mullies that frequent the river
  6. I got told a similar story to yours with a different outcome around the same time. Have you seen the msg i sent you
  7. Hey Tim, Was there a couple other guys fishing off the jetty the same night as you?
  8. My biggest is 70m on a 3" gulp with a 1/16th oz jig head. Here is me and a mate with some of the days catch. We got 11 on the one beach, releases a few and kept some for a feed http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/moo71rT4__P1020673.JPG[/img]
  9. Brooksey_134 actually down the mouth they were caught. The top one on 25lb mono using an old Daiwa sealine 135H or something like that and an 8-12kg backbone rod. A mate said he has the same rod... for salmon. I had not had something go that hard before. Some people laugh at the photos cos i am 6'6" and make the fish look small
  10. My first day on the mullies i got a 20 punder second cast and came home with a near 50 pounder. The other one was the same length and 47lb http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/7zjbTnSu__P1020067.JPG[/img] http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/kWu1GV4k__P1030007.JPG[/img]
