a very underated rod i think is the rovex Air strike... i have the 3-6 but they do a 5-10kg ultra light, throw baits, lures its a great rod and for the price $50 its great value have caught stompa bream, decent trout, sambos with it i reckon be easy handle mullies and snapps just a though...also i have this matched with a shimano symetre 1500 and use it for cod/callop in the safwaa dams

id go for a light 6'6 5-10kg stick matched with a 3000-4000 reel for flicking lures with 20lb braid.. shimano saros 3000 and what ever rod really in that size range.. ive only ever thrown baits for mullies from the yak so i use 7ft silstar powertip with 3000 shimano baitrunner loaded with 20lb mono

i got the 1500 i like it its not bad its been thrashed in both ad salt.. only thing is the 1500 size is the equivilent size of some of the bigger reels that i have that are like 2000-2500 sizes s its a bit bigger body than usual but... yeh.. good budget reel.. -

i mainly C & R most of my fish unless the olds want a feed However ill keep squid crabs cause there my fave... i dont mind a feed of fish every now and then but it has to be cooked the way i like it

dnt get me wrong im a dry dock/ boags premum fella myself but if i had to out of the 3 im a xxxx fella but i almost drink anything... except coopers clear that stuff gives me headaches!!!

its approx 3.75km SSW of my house when its on spesh :D or theres another spot 2km west, one 4.5km SSE, one 10km SSW if im being a tight arse and needa travel a bit further :D :D hahahahha

agreed... there are soooooo many times that weve shown people and taken them out to our spots and made friends and new fishing buddies is unreal.... in the lst 2 years i have made more friends then eva and learnt sooo much more its not funny.. all just from this site and ppl helping me out with whatever i neded...

ET's range is at your big w stores killa rod man def a winner... you can even buy it as a combo pack for like 80-90buxs... well worth it fella..

cantana are a good cheap rod to, match it with a sienna all under 150 u can go wrong ;)Even those Shimano et special soft plastics rods are killa.. have had one for years still going strong catching big bream

id wait and save up fella.. eitha that or wait for summant to pop up on here.. i paid $80 for an diawa tierra 7ft rd and a diawa excellor 2000 with a spare spool and both spooled up ready to go
