  1. Yes it is warranted, as this bloke has repeatedly attacked me personally. His posts are slanderous !
  2. Your a pig Mate, nothing short of it. All three groups that are on the council have more members than RFSA individually. What you need to get into your head is - SA voted- - RFSA is gone as the representative body July 1. The Ministers Recreational Fishing Advisory Council is on the table now. This Council and the Minister will then decide the best approach for forming the Representative body to replace RFSA. FB is only one avenue to communicate - but powerful enough to convince a Government to make change. We are having a get together night soon, all those that fought for change wi
  3. Your Avatar was blocked, it isn't hard to understand. RFSA have a contract with PIRSA until the end of June, we are on a council that deals direct with the Minister.
  4. Oh, and your we use handles on the internet. Well you didn't let me enjoy the same, did you. But see I haven't got anything to hide.
  5. I didn't block you, another admin did- but I did see your usual constant attacks. And no I don't know who you are, so as far as I'm concerned, your a hater hiding in a dark room behind black curtains.
  6. Hiding behind the black curtain again. I will be happy to put up the report from next weeks meeting. Hating so much is bad for your health, maybe you should try meditation ?
  7. Well Mr hide in the shadows, taking cheep shots. Put your glasses on, we now represent all of them - From today's Yorke Peninsula times - The Marshall Liberal Government is moving full steam to deliver our commitment establishing a new body to be the voice of recreational fishers to government. As promised, recreational fishers will have the chance to stand for election and be voted onto the new representative recreational fishing council. Existing organisations like RecFishCentral will be given a seat at the table, as promised at the election. A final consultation paper

  9. Not correct, the new body will be up and running in the next few months.
  10. RFSA cant be abolished. Their peak status has been removed only. The point everybody is missing is RFSA are equally represented on the Rec Fishing Council !
  11. You dont serm to understand policy. RFSA obviously do ! I note the AAA angling association joined our association and have put a request in to be on the Rec Council. All assocuations involved have taken note of your continuos FB slander comments.
  12. Policy was announced last Dec. It's included in the 100 day plan. As of yesterday RFSA removed it's Peak Body status from it's FB page.
  13. Yes its true. RecFishSA are no longer the Peak Body. However they have a position in their own right on the New Recreational Fishing Council.
  14. Gee, and what have you done except whine and criticize? We have done far more submissions and media releases than the peak body. With a weekly reach of 70,000, it's not a bad result for those working as volunteers. Yes, the website has been hacked, on purpose by the way and this is being addressed, but we have many portals for discussion. Right now, there is no doubt that if SAFA and RecFish Central had not pushed issues hard, nothing would be on the table towards the election. We didn't see anybody else present to the Natural Resources committee ? Slanging off at those working their guts out
  15. He is referring to the South Australian Fishing Alliance. If you look on this forum you will see some of our work posted. Out of respect to this website, we will not enter into political debate here. However you are welcome to message on this sites message stream, or email me if you would like. 16. RJ You and your companions are the reason we are not active on this forum. We are a ground up organisation, it's members ( SA Fishos) dictate the direction. It is their group ! Those that have decided, they have had enough of the lies, back door deals and the slide down hill of our rights have chosen, to yell it from the hilltops. People can chose to be happy with the current situation or fight for change. We are heading for an election, and I assure you.all our cards are in place. SA Anglers want independence, they want to make decisions for their own future ! Coming to us and pushing the
  17. The division in the Rec community, is the reason independent groups have jumped up. Increased conflict with commercials, PIRSA and the Government, that's excellent news. They will be dragged into the light !
  18. Yes RJ, I was going to make the same statement.
  19. Our own Rec fishers have spoken, but been ignored time and time again !
  20. Unfortunately the pathetic response from rec fishers to the recent government attempt to ask what we wanted pretty much summed up the reason for what happens. Out of about 280K rec fishers, 800 or so turned up at the community consultations and about 1500 bothered to fill in the questionaires. Trust funds do not ensure protection of monies from abuse, many a lawyer has diddled their trust fund & I have had first hand experience of it when my mother passed.Only 6% of the Vic RFL goes directly to Fishng related benefits. Here the RFL money would be handled and distributed by DEWNR. I would

  22. There are bigger fish to fry. As the biggest stakeholder, we are being treated like chicken little. Our rights as equal stakeholders of a shared resource, have been sold off to backroom deals with a Minister. An RFL will not fix this situation, nor will it stop the encroaching conservationists. The first move forward, should be the formation of a Rec fishing council. Here reps from the various representative groups would form an independent body. This would have a powerful voice. We need our rights under, the fisheties ACT restored, proper surveys and community impact. studies done etc. From h
  23. I have all the correspondence, and the timeframe. And the emails over months asking both camps to stop it. So happy to share if you want !
  24. With respect Graham, if you (SAFA) have made the decision to abandon the forum, why respond in this thread? Either be part of the forum and share the information that comes from SAFA openly, and deal with any negative or constructive criticism (that may or may not eventuate) professionally, or don't share anything at all with us. I'm not sure what value really comes from telling us SAFA is doing a great job representing rec fisherman...... but in the next sentence imply SAFA won't have anything to do with this rec fishing forum? Cheers. I was alerted to the conversation h
