Hi an old post, but i thought id upload a recipe from my resturant thats works very well. We use off cuts of beef fillet. Marinate over night and dry at 60 degrees over night. Give it a go! Sometimes we will smoke it in red gum for 30 min just to taint the meat a lil.

Hi ive been looking at a new smoker. At work we use one of the large rectangular two door smokers. Ive seen in bcf the have a banjo off set smoker. Looks like a bbq with a little burning box set off to the side. Has anyone tried the banjo or compared the two.? The large rectangular upright style seems it would fit more. Thanks Hunter.

Heading down to goolwa in few weeks for my new boats first run. Will be launching at beacon 19 boat ramp. Looking for a camping spot close by. I dont have a 4wd so the beach is a no go. Is camping permited along beacon 19 rd? Or anywhere close by ? Thanks Hunter

Id normally spot 10-20 fish, 3 where seen and managed 2. They've really shut down for me. Will start targeting rainbows soon when our northern rivers get a good flushing with rain. Something there in real need of. Very dry here atm

Poor water clarity after light rain. I was expecting it. Managed 2 in 2 hours. Decent for this time of year, i think.

Having only fly fished for 2 years now, this season ive managed to land probly 100 trout. Alot more then i anticipated. Rainbows from the north, and browns from the hills.. ive just Put in the leg work. As winter sets in they slow right down. I havent have much action lately so ive slowed down. This afternoon some sun broke through so i set out with not alot of expectations. But from deepest hole i know. Yet 2m wide a 48cm wild brown took the nymth. On a 3lb tippet. Run deep amongst the gnarly roots. Very lucky to recover it. From such a shallow stream, I wasnt aware they could grow so l
