i heard the best way to eat them is skin and fillet, then put in a pot with boiling water ad mixed herbs,garlic,lemon and a dirty sock boil 4 10 minutes then drain everything of and eat the sock

i rekon browns is best fished sun up or sun down if lagoon noy firing go to reef once twisted my ankle walking from campground to carpark and was that keen walked all the way down there and bak caught nothing but had an ankle the size of a footy bad move

yea can get a bit hairy when rough last time i went there a school of 2 to 3 kg fish hung around the reef for hours we had 2 stop catchn them our arms were 2 sore def come bak empty handed a few times though

did u try of the reef

lust like 2 hear a few tactics floats or fished weighted can u still get them on dead baits when live not available do u always have to fish 4 them at night or is high tide more important

have used at waits with good success popper on top bait on bottom
