    Thanks all for the help. Have decided that it is something we really cannot part with now and will keep as part of history. Will print off the writeup about Seamartin for the kids and grandkids. Hopefully they will appreciate it one day. As you say - part of history

    Thanks everyone for the response - yes it is in working order. Lucky we didn't sell it for $50 as we were originally going to. Where would be the best place to sell this? Ebay or Facebook do you think?

    Cleaning out my dad’s items and he lived in Lakes Entrance, Victoria. I’ve been reading about Cliff Martin and seem to remember Dad had a fishing mate called Cliff. I’m pretty sure therefore this would be one of his reels. Does anyone have any idea what a wooden seamartin rell would sell for. Thanks in advance for any advice
