  1. USSR, Удачи means good luck in Russian
  2. I personally like Daiwa and fished with Z4500, awesome reel. But try to avoid new Saltiga, it is nowhere near Stella.Read these reviews, lots of photos:Stellahttp://www.stripersonline.com/surftalk/showthread.php?t=647666New Saltigahttp://www.stripersonline.com/surftalk/showthread.php?t=768370Удачи
  3. I own both SeaJigger and Sensor the quality of seajigger is way better.
  4. Mate, go with seagijjer. Best salmon rod you can find for around 240$.You will never regret. My SeaJigger 305 handles 35gm lures for Browns no worries and also 65-70gm on West Coast. Casts a mile, and pulls average size salmons from Browns and big monsters 4-5kg+ on West Coast effortlessly. And yes, you will be casting all day without getting tired. I also have Daiwa Sensor surf, this rod is different and i cant compare it to SeaJigger. A few old topics for you to read:http://www.strikehook.com/forum/35-bait-a-tackle/99506-just-ordered-my-new-daiwa-seajigger#99936http://www.strikehook.com/for

  7. lewie wrote: Mate, go Seajigger. It was designed to cast lures all day. Sensor was designed for bait fishing. If you want to cast light lures go for 305 if you want to be able to cast 35-65g with 15-20lb braid the 315 is your choice. You don't need to order it from Sydney, Rays and Anns sell it at bloody good price.
  8. plankton wrote: Mate, go for Seajigger 305 if you need 55gm lures. I bought 305 as it can handle 35-100g. So i use 35-40g at Browns and Waitpinga and going to use 65gm on West Coast in 3 weeks time.
  9. I have Seajigger 305 and my mate has both 305 and 315. What can i say, this is the best rod for Salmon you can find for under 300AUD. You can cast lures all day without getting tired. I use my with Daiwa Seagate 3500H, very good combo. My mate uses Daiwa Certate Hyper Custom 4000H with his Seajiggers.I dont like Shimano reels as they have lots of holes and the sand gets inside pretty easily. Only Daiwa !!! You will never regret.

Since i got my Daiwa my wife started to use my Nexave when i take her to Browns. So far no complains. I would recommend using 15lb braid with this rod as you can cast a mile, something like Tufline, only cost 25bucks a 300y spool from the US.
  11. Hi Mate. I would strongly recommend Daiwa Seajigger 305 if you can increase your budget by 60$.Alternatively you can go with Shimano Nexave, i have used it for about 15 trips to Browns Beach and one trip to West Coast. Very light but powerful rod, you can cast all day. The only trouble is if you need to cast heavier lures like 60+g then Nexave is no good. I got Seajigger for my birthday in November and i love it, it is very well balanced with my Daiwa Seagate 3500HD reel. One tip for you if you decide to go with Shimano. First of all Nexave is not on their webside, it was re-branded for Takle
